Joe is a multi-instrumentalist whose primary focus is saxophone and clarinet. He teaches woodwinds in the greater Detroit area, and plays regularly with a saxophone quartet. In addition, he dabbles with guitar and ukulele. He is a strong proponent of music education and a member of M.E.N.C. His favorite artists include Charlie Parker, Louis Armstrong, The Who, Ray Charles, and Jack Johnson. When not indulging in the musical arts, Joe enjoys golfing, reading, and kayaking.
